Christine has been planning both weddings and corporate events in the Washington, D.C. area for over 13 years.  

 

Prior to starting CG & Co Events, she was the sole South Asian and Multicultural wedding specialist with Engaging Affairs. After planning her first South Asian Wedding 12 years ago, she developed a strong passion for the beauty and intricacy of each of her weddings.  Since then, she has developed a reputation for being a breath of fresh air in the South Asian and Multicultural wedding community.  She is known for her ability to find the perfect balance of honoring and respecting tradition while also creating a unique and personalized wedding experience for each couple.  She has planned weddings from 50 to 500+ guests for DC's elite, both locally and beyond.  She is able to offer expert guidance on what venues and vendors will work best for your specific wedding,  based on your specific vision, design, budget, guest count, and overall priorities for your wedding day.

Christine is drawn to the fast-paced, high energy and dynamic world of events.  She is considered one of the top wedding and event planners in Washington, D.C. due to her attention to detail, easy to follow planning and wedding day timelines, ability to multi-task, contract negotiations, creative problem solving, and ability to stay calm under pressure.

 

Christine completed the Event Management Certificate Program at George Washington University, has been educated in international protocol and etiquette by The International Society of Protocol & Etiquette Professionals. 

 

Christine lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and two children.
